For your next estimate

Keep a sample board in the truck.

Get a free solar vent

Bring the real thing to your next estimate.

Show, don't just tell

Hand a homeowner the real thing.

A sample board gives customers something to look at and touch during the estimate β€” easier than describing a solar vent from a brochure.

What ships

A sample board, plus a few extras.

Your package includes a solar vent sample board sized for easy handling, along with some 4Seasons swag.

The technical case

Ventilation, explained for the people who install it.

Natural airflow through a roof is never constant β€” it depends on outside temperature, attic temperature, humidity, wind, roof pitch and how many vents are actually installed. A powered vent takes that variability out of the equation.

CFM vs NFA

Two different numbers, both worth knowing.

NFA (Net Free Area) describes a vent's physical opening size. CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) describes how much air it actually moves β€” which depends on the fan, not just the opening. A powered vent with a smaller NFA can outperform a much larger passive one.

Why solar specifically

Power exactly when the problem is worst.

Attic heat buildup peaks on bright, sunny days β€” the same days a solar panel produces the most power. A solar powered vent runs hardest exactly when it's needed most, with no house wiring and no added electrical load.
